O assembly (of) [the] jinn and [the] men! Did (there) not come to you Messengers from (among) you, relating to you My Verses and warning you (of the) meeting (of) your day this?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." And deluded them the life (of) the world, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

[And thus will God continue:] "O you who have lived in close communion with [evil] invisible beings and [like-minded] humans! Have there not come unto you apostles from among yourselves, who conveyed unto you My messages and warned you of the coming of this your Day [of Judgment]?" They will answer: "We do bear witness against ourselves!"-for the life of this world had beguiled them: and so they will bear witness against themselves that they had been denying the truth
O ye assembly of the jinn and humankind! Came there not unto you messengers of your own who recounted unto you My tokens and warned you of the meeting of this your Day? They will say: We testify against ourselves. And the life of the world beguiled them. And they testify against themselves that they were disbelievers
"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith
O assembly of jinn and men! did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My communications and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They shall say: We bear witness against ourselves; and this world's life deceived them, and they shall bear witness against their own souls that they were unbelievers
Company of jinn and mankind! Did messengers not come from among you to recite My revelations to you, and warn you of the meeting of this Day? They will say, We bear witness against ourselves. It was the life of this world that deceived them and so they will bear witness against themselves, that they rejected the truth
O assembly of jinn and humankind! Approach not Messengers from among yourselves relating to you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this, your Day? They said: We bore witness against ourselves. This present life deluded them and they bore witness against themselves that they had been ones who are ungrateful.
"O company of sprites and humankind, have not messengers from among yourselves come to relate My signs to you and warn you about a meeting on this day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness even against ourselves." Worldly life has lured them on and they bear witness against themselves for having been disbelievers.
˹Allah will ask,˺ “O assembly of jinn and humans! Did messengers not come from among you, proclaiming My revelations and warning you of the coming of this Day of yours?” They will say, “We confess against ourselves!” For they have been deluded by ˹their˺ worldly life. And they will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers.
"You who have lived in close company with jinn and like-minded humans, did not messengers not come from among you to recite My message and warn you of the coming of this Day [of Judgment]?" They will answer, "We bear witness against ourselves." The life of this world has seduced them, and so they will bear witness against themselves that they had rejected the truth.
(Allah will ask): “O assembly of jinns and mankind! Did not there come to you Messengers from among you, reciting to you My Verses and warning you of your meeting of this Day?” They will say: “We bear witness against ourselves.” It was this worldly life that deceived them. They will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
“O company of jinn and human beings! Did not messengers come unto you from among yourselves, recounting unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting with this your Day?” They will say, “We bear witness against ourselves.” The life of this world deluded them, and they bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers
"O you tribes of Jinn and humans, did not messengers come to you from amongst you and relate to you My revelations, and warn you of the meeting of this Day" They said: "Yes, we bear witness upon ourselves;" and the worldly life deceived them, and they bore witness on themselves that they were rejecters
‘Company of jinn and mankind! Did messengers not come from among you to recite My revelations to you and warn that you would meet this Day?’ They will say, ‘We testify against ourselves.’ The life of this world seduced them, but they will testify against themselves that they rejected the truth
O ye race of genii and mankind came there not apostles unto you from amongst you recounting unto you My signs and warning you of your meeting of this Day? They will say: we bear witness against ourselves. The life of the world hath deluded them, and they shall bear witness against themselves that verily they had been infidels
O you assembly of jinns and men, did not apostles come to you from among you, communicating My signs to you, bringing warnings of this your day (of Doom)?" They will answer: "We bear witness to our sins." They were surely deluded by the life of the world, and bore witness against themselves because they were unbelievers
Company of jinn and men! did not Messengers come to you from among yourselves relating My Signs to you and warning you of the encounter of this Day of yours? They will say, ´We testify against ourselves.´ The life of this world deluded them and they will testify against themselves that they were kuffar
"O assembly of the jinn and humankind! Did there never come to you Messengers from among yourselves, relating to you My signs and Revelations, and warning you of encountering this Day of yours?" They say: "We bear witness against ourselves." The life of the world had deluded them, and (just as their speeches and actions in the world testified to their unbelief, so) they have borne witness against themselves that they were unbelievers
‘O company of jinn and humans! Did there not come to you apostles from yourselves, recounting to you My signs and warning you of the encounter of this Day?’ They will say, ‘We testify against ourselves.’ The life of this world had deceived them, and they will testify against themselves that they had been faithless
O assembly of jinn and men! Did there not come to you Messengers of your own (or from amongst you), relating to you Our Signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day? They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." The life of this worl
"O company of jinn and humankind, did Messengers not come up to you from among you, (who) narrated to you My signs and warned you of the meeting of this your Day?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." And the present life (Literally: the lowly life, i.e., the life of this world) deluded them, and they bore witness against themselves that they were disbelievers
When people and jinn are asked, "Did not Messengers from your own people come to you to convey Our revelations and to warn you of the Day of Resurrection?" They will reply, "(Yes indeed)." The worldly life deceived them. They will testify that they were unbelievers
.O species of Jinn and mankind, had the messengers not come to you, from among yourselves, who used to relate My verses to you, and used to warn you of the encounter of this your day?. They will say, .We testify against ourselves. The worldly life had deceived them, and they will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers
O You, assembly of the nomads and the urbanites! Did not Messengers come to you from among you, who conveyed to you My Messages and warned you of the meeting of this your Day? They will say, "We testify against ourselves." Pursuit of only the worldly life preoccupied their hearts and minds. They will bear witness against themselves that they disregarded the Truth
"O you assembly of jinns' and men! Did the messengers not come to you from among you, telling you of My Signs and warning you of the facing of this Day?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the present life that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they rejected Faith (as disbelievers)
"O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers
At that time Allah will also ask: "O Assembly of Jinns and mankind! Did not there come to you the Messengers from amongst you who proclaimed to you My revelations and warned you about the meeting of this Day?" They will reply: "Yes they did, We bear witness against our own souls." Today this worldly life has deceived them but on that Day they will testify against themselves that they were indeed kuffar (unbelievers)

(Allah will say), "Oh the species of jinn and humans! Had the messengers from among your own kind not come to you? And (did they not) recite to you My revelations, and warn you about the meeting of this very day?" They will say, "(Yes, and) we bear witness against ourselves." The life of this world deceived them, and they will bear witness that they were indeed the unbelievers

Did not (there) come to you Messengers from amongst you reproducing unto you My Ayaat and warning you about the meeting of this Day of yours?” They said: “We bore witness against ourselves,” and the worldly life bewitched them and they gave evidence against their ownselves that they had been disbelievers

(Then Allah will also ask them): ´O assembly of jinn and men! Did there not come to y ou Messengers from among yourselves, relating to you My signs, and warning you of the encounter of this your Day (of Judgement)?´ They will say: ´Yes, we bear witness against ourselves.´ They have been deluded by the life of this world, and they will bear witness against themselves that they had disbelieved

You clan of Jinn and humans, did not messengers from among you come to you telling you My signs, and warning you about the meeting of this day of yours? They say: we testify against ourselves. And this world's life deceived them, and they testify against themselves that they were disbelievers
“O you assembly of jinn and humans, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?” They will say, “We bear witness against ourselves.” The life of the present deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected faith
Allah will ask: “Company of jinn and humans, did messengers not come to you from among your own kind, telling you of My signs and warning you that you would meet Me on this day?” They will say, “We testify against ourselves,” but the worldly life deceived them, and they testified against themselves that they were disbelievers
"O assembly of Jinn and mankind, did not messengers come to you from among you and tell to you My revelations, and warn you of the meeting of this Day?" They said: "Yes, we bear witness upon ourselves;" and the worldly life deceived them, and they bore witness upon themselves that they were rejecters.
"O assembly of jinn and mankind! Did there not come to you Messengers from amongst you, recounting to you My Verses/signs and warning you of your appointment for this Day?" They shall say, "We bear witness against our own selves." And the life of this world deceived them, and they shall bear witness against their own selves that they were suppressing the Truth

God will then ask: "Did I not send My prophets to you, Jinns and human beings, to recite My Revelations and warn you about this meeting of ours today?" They will [have no choice but to] confess that they fell prey to the vanities of the world, chose the disbelief and, thus, testify against themselve

O community of jinn and men! Did Messengers not come to you from amongst yourselves reciting My Verses to you, and warning you of your appearance (before Me) this Day? They will say: ‘We bear witness against our own souls.’ The life of the world had caught them in deception, and they will bear witness (to this effect) against themselves that (in the world) they were disbelievers (i.e., the beliers of the truth)
O you assembly of jinns and mankind! "Did not there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My Verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers
'Company of jinn and mankind, did not Messengers come to you from among you, relating to you My signs and warning you of the encounter of this your day?' O race of Djinn and men! came not apostles to you from among yourselves, rehearsing my signs to you, and warning you of the meeting of this your day? They shall say, "We bear witness against ourselves." This world's life deceived them; and they shall bear witness against themselves that they were infidels:

O assembly of spirit-beings and people, were there not messengers among you to present My signs and to warn you of the meeting of your day [to be judged]? They will say [on that day], “We testify against ourselves.” The life of this world deceived them, so they themselves will testify that they would not believe.
“0 you company of jinn and humans! Have there not come to you messengers from among yourselves who related to you My revelations and warned you of the coming of this your day?†They will reply: “We bear witness against ourselves.†The life of this world has beguiled them. So they will bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers.
“O communities of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you Rasuls from among you, relating to you My messages pointing to the reality and warning you of the coming of this Day?” They will say, “We bear witness against ourselves”; and the worldly life (they had conjured based on corporeality) had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were deniers of the knowledge of the reality.

' O' assembly of the jinn and mankind ! Did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, recounting to you My Signs and warning you of the meeting of this Day ? Al-muntakhab fi tafsir al-Qur'an al-Karim
In Day of Judgement shall all be addressed , thus: "O you people of the Jinn and mankind, asks Allah, "did you not receive Messengers, people of your own , to present you with My signs and narrate to you My revelations evincing both My Omnipotence and Authority, and warn you of this Momentous Day! "We plead guilty, they say, and we confess to the charge". They were deceived by the sensuous enjoyment, they regarded as the chief object of life, and they were witnesses of their own actions and of their deeds reflecting infidelity and disobedience to Allah
"O assembly of jinn and human beings ! did there not come to you messengers from among you, narrating to you My signs and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." And the life of this world deceived them and they will bear witness against themselves that they used to be infidels.
